We just finished a self-defence course for the We Care Foundation.

2023 has seen the death of Sensei Yamada in New York - he was largely responsible for the aikido that is present in North America . RIP

Kids started uo Wednesday Sept 14 4-4:50

Adults have resumed Monday and Wednesday at 5:10-6 p.m.

It's been a great fall start. Kids class finishes Dec 14. New Term begins Jan 1/23

Summer time 2022

Summer is moving along. Adult aikido is going great ..monday indoors Lantern ..wednesday Jo outside ...5:10-6. In september will start up kids classes again. Adults will continue.

Well January started with lockdown. But a few of us adults enjoyed the cold fresh air doing Jo. It was very nice .

Fall has been challenging but good 2021

Yesterday was another milestone for East End Aikido NL: we now have three 6th kyu ranks, USAF standards. Despite Covid, we became members of the USAF and forged ahead planning adult and kids classes. It's been challenging as Covid context affects our numbers and practise routine. But we are navigating the tumultuous waters.
